]]><![CDATA[February 21st, 2016]]>Sun, 21 Feb 2016 21:29:35 GMThttp://bobetteart.com/blog/february-21st-2016I'm finally getting involved with the Art community.  I attended 2 Art gallery openings last night where my work was shown at one of them.  I was delighted to meet other artists and see such wonderful new galleries in Sarasota County.  Since we will be moving back to California and because I have been thinking of opening an Art gallery for years, I'm once again inspired to follow that dream.  I'll be presenting mostly current artists.  I'll be selling real estate again too since I have my California Broker's license.  I'll keep you all updated to see if I do make my dreams come true.]]><![CDATA[copyright problems]]>Thu, 17 Dec 2015 22:51:15 GMThttp://bobetteart.com/blog/copyright-problemsThis week I have been contacting companies who might have a copyright claim from the images I painted in my decade series.  I never realized when I chose to record American History with images that it would cost me money to be able to share them with the world.  I might have to change some images if the costs becomes too much for me to handle.  I understand people wanting to be paid for their creations but to be honest I did the first 50 years of the 20th Century.   Some of the images are over 100 years old and the creator is long gone so it's the company who bought the rights still looking for more.  Our way of life creates so many blocks to many things that might have been if people didn't need so much.  
I hope that I can solve this so I can offer them without problems.  I have been trying to contact everyone but some companies don't call me back.  This is not easy.  Might be a good idea to buy them now before I have to take them off the market.]]><![CDATA[Being a creator]]>Wed, 19 Aug 2015 00:38:00 GMThttp://bobetteart.com/blog/being-a-creatorPicture
A bit of surrealism I did so many years ago.  Getting hired to do art from a corporate entity is difficult if you are too versatile.  Its the ability to create the unknown that makes art, art.  And yet people only want to recognize your work and the only way they can do that is to make it redundant.  I'm looking forward to the day when an artist can be appreciated for the many types of art styles they create.  After all, artists tend to want to think outside the box.

I have done many series during my career and they are each in different mediums, styles, and I believe most of them are pretty neat....but then I am the creator so naturally I would resonate with it.  I have thrown out some of my work over the years but it always surprises me when someone likes a piece I don't think is all that.

Artists give up much in order to give themselves permission and the time to create.  Usually it is from our own volition and bank account.  Please find new artists work that you like and buy it to support us.  Its important to keep the creativity alive in the human race. 

I can illustrate and love to.  I illustrate children's books, books,  magazines, sign companies, and am always looking for more work.  If you know someone looking for an artist, please mention me.   Thanks for being here.

I am also available to create a painting depicting things about a family or Corporation.  Better hurry though cause I'm getting old.....lol.

This is an illustration from one of my Bunky Books called 'The Amazing Piano.'  In the story, I give basic instructions about moving energy in the body to jump start healing.  The story also gives reference to other things that can induce healing such as music and positive thoughts. 

I have been given the gift of feeling energy and I have used it to help people heal in the past.  I decided it was a better path for me to teach it to our next generations rather than work on individual people.  We all have the same abilities but it is always just a matter of what we focus on and spend our time developing within ourselves.

I have watch burns disappear and shifted many problems for many.  It is possible.  I've experienced it.

We are the directors of our own movies.  Our words, thoughts, beliefs, feelings work hand in hand with our experiences.  I hear myself saying and thinking things I know are not what I want to create for myself and yet there they are.  Day after day I spend most of my time creating beauty and then I find out about so many painful things happening and I battle to stay positive and focused on what I want my life to be. 

I have big dreams.  I see my book 'The Magic Kite' as an animated movie and I would like to create a theme park involving all alternative modalities.  I would like to create hotels at the park as decades like my paintings.  People  will be able to spend a week or more learning and healing at the park.

I hope you know what you would like to experience in your lives.
